This thread should be called "Martz offense pads stats better than Rayes offense"

But Martz offense creates more chances for INTs and fumbles, but that excuse wasn't made for the QB back then. Now, what excuse do you have for more INTs and dumb plays along with missing open receivers?

You need to realize that the starting QB for the 49ers future was not playing Sunday.

the team constantly being in 2nd-15 and 3rd-15. run plays are still being called at the wrong time and the rookie O-line is getting too many penalties.

constantly 3rd and 15. Don't exaggerate. I'm not. I know they were in 3rd and 8's often but quite a few of those were converted. He's just not finding open receivers.

we had 2 receivers over 100 yds, he is finding open receivers.

What's funny is that the ONLY reason Collinsworth was identifying open receivers was because we were running the spread. When we were in the s**tty offense we've been running through the entire season (i-form, 2 wides), he never mentioned it once.

Oh look, our guys can actually get open when we have more then 3 or 4 receivers running routes? What a f**king surprise.

So now you are making excuses for JTOs interceptions and fumbles?

I don't have much faith in you identifying any QBs of the future on this roster with your track record.

Nope. I'm just doing what you are doing with Alex Smith. Thanks for making my point.

JTO through 5 games in 2008: (6th year in the league with less starts than Alex Smith)

7 TD
6 INT
20 sacks

Alex Smith: Mr. cant' throw an accurate deep ball unless it's in the middle of the field.
6 TD
9 INT
6 sacks

Smith is better than JTO though. I'd rather have Shaun Hill as our QB.
show how many yds each threw for
.. Can't wait until 2011
and yet JTO can get benched but smith can't? I don't understand what makes Smith so f**ken untouchable what has he done in 6 years in the league? Not a damn thing!

Ahh, you don't know that. JTO had a great game being sacked and carrying us on his back and still winning. How well do you think JTO would have done if Martz was reigned in?

But yes, I would rather have Shaun Hill.
O'Sullivan is out the league too right now, Alex will be lucky to get a back-up jobin the CFL , AFL, or UFL
remember all the fumbles he had?

Yeah, and he is out of the league.

So, what are the excuses for Alex Smith's turnovers?

Yeah, he lost six in nine games and fumbled eleven times total.
The Raiders are 2-3 and second in their division.

What did they change from last year? QB!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have better receivers.
We have a better OL.
We have a better RB.

We have a QB who turns the ball over.

JTO = Smith

only difference is JTO would be a lot cheaper.

Some people just don't want to see this truth.

I honestly feel Carr can be more efficient. We have better players around him than what he had in Houston. He doesn't need to throw up 2 TD and 270+ yards a game. He only needs to NOT throw 2 INTs a game.
