Michael Johnson is probably having sweaty palms by now

If I am Michael Johnson, I would pray like f**k tonight that Singletary keeps Alex Smith as the starting QB. And I will make AS pass a lot so he will make mistakes. By doing so, I might be a NFL head coach before season ends. Besides, there is no down side if AS plays good. I will be consider as an up-and-comer OC by others. The biggest draw back that Singletary has is his vision of run first offense. By running first, he robbed the QB and WRs the chance to get the timing down on pass plays and when the team gets behind and need to throw, the passes are just not on target as it should be. And I bet that the pass plays are not a focus during the week. If he has an ounce of guts to control Martz and kept him, Sing would not have to face this situation now because Martz, by his name alone, makes other teams respect the pass. All Sing has to do is tell Martz from time to time that he needs to call running plays.

I doubt he is on the hot seat. We have nobody to call plays behind him and it is only the second game. The only people on the hot seat are Smith and Sing. Manusky may be inching his way there, since our defense is getting owned almost every game....

If that happens, most webzoners will band together and lynch the entire York family.

They MUST hire someone with experience this time around, or there going to be even a bigger laughing stock than they already are.

No way MJ becomes headcoach. Not this season. He was just promoted to OC.

But, on the off chance he does become headcoach, even if it is just an interim to finish out the season, I will cry myself to sleep for 3 months straight.

Hey, hey, no need for the insult.

My thought process is that if Singletary gets fired, then Manusky becomes the interim HC. He seems to have more seniority on the team.

In the long run, even if Mike Johnson becomes interim HC, that doesn't really do much for him. A few years ago, I believe it was Jim Bates for the Dolphins that served as the interim after they fired their head coach. Even after doing somewhat well and the team responded to him, the team hired Nick Saban.

So your assertion that Alex sucking leading to Singletary being fired to Mike Johnson becoming head coach isn't the most obvious thing.
