Excellent post. There is reason for optimism, despite the overwhelming negativity. This oline hasn't even begun to tap its potential. And nobody is mentioning how good Anthony Davis played at Atlanta. The rookie more than held his own, he was hustling downfield to get a key block on the VD touchdown.

Who are you referring to? I hope not Anothony Davis. For a twenty-year old, I'd say he has been more than impressive. While we're on the subject, how are the other tackles taken in the draft doing?

I think Okung and Williams are still hurt and Baluga isn't even starting for the Packers. Davis so far is looking like the best pick. Thank God!!!!

The O-line may play well, but Alex Smith will once again find a way to screw things up, throw a few interceptions at critical points of the game, over throw a handful of balls, and fail like he always does.

LOL. People handle adversity in real life with fortitude and a WILLINGNESS TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS, CHANGE, AND IMPROVE. Not with blind faith and repeating the same mistakes over and over. You are confusing resolve with stupidity.

As awful as some of you make Smith seem, he has shown that he can compete with the best. I can't say that about each of the twenty-one other men who start on this team.
