Alex's fault.

I dont think you can put that pass on Alex... I undertand and agree that Alex is done with the niners, but you cant put EVERY failed pass on Alex.

Morgan had another pass that he could have laid out for near the sideline for a 1st but didn't. I think that players are putting their health above the Win because they dont believe in Singletary. Just my opinion though

Good point. Also Morgan was just handed the starting position when Zeigler has already proven that he is a much better WR than Morgan.

Agree! Zeigler seems to get more seperation and looks to be a better #2.

it was prolly not catchable, but seeing him lay out for it would have been nice

No point in possibly injuring yourself for a pass that you know that is uncatchable.

Yeah right, as a pro just give a little effort when you feel like it and the rest is nothing to worry about. What kind of cr_p is this. Ronnie Lot cuts off part of his finger to play and our WR can't lay out for a catchable ball?

In case you haven't heard yet the dude sucks big ones.
Yeah Baby Arms Morgan has a problem with this. His effectiveness is minuscule because he is a possession receiver on the other side of the field and in order for Crabtree and Davis to be effective they need space and with Morgan unable to stretch the field deep and take them DB's long, he muddies the waters and clogs stuff up. Kyle Williams can possibly be the answer to this if Ginn and/or Ziegler can't do it first. Williams has great speed. Not quite Desean Jackson, but close. Ginn SHOULD be the one to fill the void, but his b1tch azz is scared to get hit like Renaldo Nehemiah.

It came down like a punt.

After seeing Crabs catch vs the Bears last year(ruled incomplete) I know he can win some jump balls if given the chance. Ziegler also and Vernon. I still dont think we use our talent properly.

Agree. You can't expect guys to run around all day & give full effort when they know the ball is getting dumped off to Gore!
Josh Morgan pissed me off that game. He is not physical at all. He doesn't attack the ball. Alex isn't good to begin with, but Morgan doesn't help him out usually. Sad because I had high hopes for him after that rookie year.
i am not a smith hater but it is time he went and pretty much the whole coaching staff.

go out and get a bill cowher, jon gruden or an urban meyer. get someone who is offensive minded and can put a staff together. in cowher's case he is not offensive miinded but can brinig in people and he understands enough to control it.

Time may prove you right but, again, I just don't see how any established, well respected coach will want to come near our reclimation project. The coaches you site, provided they want to make the gamble that Gibbs and Parcels have made, are going to be looking at Rolls Royce franchises, not our rusted out TR-4 of a franchise.

The first two guys may come, but I laugh when people here think that top college coaches want to come to the NFL.
College jobs at top universities pay better than the NFL, the games are more exciting, there is tradition, a better educated fan base, players play harder because they don't get big contracts and slack, coaches have more control and effectively act as GMs as well...why would you leave?
Maybe if you're Pete Carroll you leave because you know you're going to get caught cheating, but otherwise trying to nab a top tier college coach is just not going to happen, no way.
These threads are hilarious. Lets start finding ways to put everyone BUT Alex under the bus!

It was overthrown, point f**king blank.

This is what happens when you're 0-4. Let's blame Morgan for catching a TD at the end of the KC game when it didn't mean jack s**t. But yet he has aligator arms. No why would he want to catch a TD pass from Alex Smith? He's only a 6th round draft pick just collecting a massive check.

Sorry but the OP of this thread gets a big fail from me. Quit your crying at point the finger in the right direction.
