Why? He did pretty well in college and when he had a chance in the NFL as a rookie he was decent. If Smith doesn't pick it up give him a shot IMO.

b/c he's terrible with no upside. I've seen Smith play most of his NFL starts and he just doesn't have it at all. May come in and be a spark for a game or 2 but he's not a starter in this league. We talking about a guy who had to battle to barely beat out Kyle Boller.
