I live in KC and see the Chiefs play every week. Thier offense is PUTRID. The only two offensive TD's they have scored this season have been off a fumble recovery at the 20 yd line, and a 60 yd run by Charles. Their D is decent but overrated, and they are very weak against the deep pass.

Bottom line: IF our D shows up, we win just off that alone. Thier O-line is terrible, so we should be able to get good pressure without bringing a blitz. As long as their running game is contained, they will have no chance. Cassel cannot beat us with his arm.

I understand all the but you should also understand the niners play to their competition.

That's what I'm worried about. The only way we lose this game is if we beat ourselves. We are a much better team, and we don't deserve to even talk about the playoffs if we lose.

If we lose, it will be:

Playoffs !!!

We didn't do DIDDLEY POO.

My only fear is that this is very similar to the way the Seahawks were viewed too and they hung 24 on our defense. But I think coming off the game last night, they will fix the mental mistakes and handle business.

I mostly agree with your predictions. However, I don't think that we are likely to beat Atlanta on the road. We do not play well on the road. And they are a pretty solid team. That will be a tough one.

KC should be a win with how we play against the run. W

Falcons are good and we are on the road. L

Eagles and Raiders aren't that good this year and we play them at home. WW

Panthers are a struggling team now. We can beat them on the road. W

Broncos aren't bad. But at home we should have the edge. W

That puts us at 5-3 at the bye with a pretty easy second half of the season. Chances are though we will have another mistake filled game and one of those games that we should win will be a loss. So I'm expecting 4-4 at the bye. Still not bad though considering the schedule from then on out. I'd say 10-6 is easily doable.

Well we gotta beat KC which i think we will do. Kinda hoping the Saints can beat up o Atlanta this week. Atlanta will be a tough game, I hope we come out looking for revenge after last year and take them down.

Suddenly we could be 2-2 with a very nice schedule the rest of the way.
heres an insigntful opinion on whats to come for the 49ers. If the offense can show consistancy and put the ball in the endzone and get ahead in ballgames then the defense rests and pins their ears back and attacks opposing teams offenses. THe best analogy i can offer is the sf giants. WHen they have offensive output of 4 runs or more in a game their pitching staff is relaxed and doesnt feel the pressure of not allowing any runs in a ball game. Plus they are like 106-14 when that occurs. Same thing applies with the niners. Score points and allow the defense to lessen their burden and become an elite defense.

Yup, we need to score first and avoid dumb plays early in the game. Especially on the road

Hopefully we can be 1-3 when the schedule eases up.

ATL beat us down last year and we're pretty much fielding the same team. I don't think we'll be blown out. Our team will hopefully remember that game.

But I'm focused on KC. I don't know the last time the Niners won in KC but it musta been the early to mid 90's
