Defense tonight and the rest of the season

I thought the defense played well tonight overall especially with the offense coughing the ball up 4 times. However, after the 2nd and 3rd Niner TD's they allowed the Saints to go right down the field twice. You can't do that if you're a big time D. Having said that if the team plays the way they did tonight (minus the turnovers) I can see them winning a lot of games the rest of the way considering the schedule. But the team needs to find consistency. I've seen "bright spots" for the past 3 years. Its time to start winning games. A side note. I've seen enough of Delanie Walker.

Niners haven't been able to stop a screen for like 4 years. So far this season my biggest disappointment has been Dashon Goldson. Dude wants money from us, and I was expecting him to make a big leap. (I like what I see from Reggie Smith)

One other thing I noticed, we seem to get beat pretty bad on check downs to runningbacks /te's standing in the middle of the field. 3yard passes turn into 8-15 yard gains.
