Didn't seem like that big of a deal. Spencer looked like he was f**kin around and made Brooks look like a b***h so he wanted payback.

Not sure if this is accurate reporting. Appeared as if Brooks was jogging through a normal ball secure drill and Spencer gave him a surprise. Don't why Matt exaggerated it like this. The way he writes it, it's as if Brooks should have expected a hard hit and since there was a scuffle, seems as if Brooks was being a biatch even though it was all Spencer's fault.

"Brooks charged hard through the gauntlet of defensive teammates when Spencer drilled him. Brooks got off the ground and scuffled briefly with Spencer before several players broke it up. Coach Mike Singletary immediately spoke to Brooks about the incident"

I don't know why Spencer and #35 are clowning around. A bad sign after a horrific loss and before they see Brees. I would have been pissed if I was Brooks too. He JUST came back from a lacerated kidney and he is getting unnecessary shots to the body? Simpletary should have slapped Spencer in the helmet. He is doomed.
