I thought they looked pretty good, considering Alex Smith's play. Though I guess you've got to attribute some of his faults to Jimmy Raye's play calling.
If we're really looking to assign blame, let's point the finger at Mike Singletary and Mike Johnson. Singletary hired Raye and Johnson couldn't decipher Raye's foreign language.
Beyond Singletary, it's put most of the blame on the Yorks. After all, they truly lost the game by being cheap and not having DeBartolo's last name.
Who wanted to draft Michael Crabtree anyway? Vernon Davis doesn't like him.
Also, the defense looked horrible. I'd cut Nate Clements, Tarell Brown, Parys Haralson, Patrick Willis and every other defensive player if it meant a win.
I'd also fire every coach.
And while I'm on the subject of firing, let's get rid of Liberals. Let's throw them a tea party and lace the tea with arsenic. But let's not spend too much on the tea or arsenic, as such an expense wouldn't be Conservative. Speaking of expenses, let's form a religion and rake in cash from those tax brakes politicians have passed for churches.
Don't get me started on the final season of Saved By the Bell.
But yeah, I thought Davis and Iupati played pretty well for their first game out.

The OL was very late off the ball on every snap.
You can clearly see Baas drop his head, snap the ball and begin to move before anyone else gets moving.
SEA DL was always in motion first and it gave them a major advantage in the trenches
The 12th man in SEA is a significant advantage.

Taking two Olinemen in the first is a f**king waste...How can you expect to win a division with two rookies on your oline. we should have taken another skill position player and one o linemen and got a vet like faneca

Even if we could have gotten Bradford, I am glad we got Iupati. I saw him stone single guys during passes so that he looked like he was blocking downfield, Most of the OL was dropping or getting shoved back and Iupati is not budging an inch. On another occasion he was pass blocking two guys who were lunging to get past him and he was holding both up, one with each hand. There may be bigger guys then he is but I doubt if there are any more powerful. He has some to go in learning little tricks but he is worth every cent of the first round. Anthony Davis also showed a lot in the Denver game. He is kinda nasty too. He really got after guys and I suppose his attitude may have gotten a bit grumpier after being felt up by Shaun Smith. It is odd that guys who are as big as Snyder and Staley say they are big dudes. Overall they seem like genuine 340 lbs while the rest look like pumped up 290 lb guys. I like Alex Boone a lot and I think they have a strong lineup for many years. I think they could use a top center guard to keep their staff topped up. Kopa seems like a keeper also.
I sure like Baalke's work but giving Sing players is like expecting a crow to sing like a canary.
