Rotate our Running Backs?

One cant help but notice that we have a very talented Running Back tandem with Gore and Westbrook, Dixon is young, but a couple touches a game would definitely be beneficial to our offense in the long run. So is it possible to find a healthy rotation between these very talented runners?

Singletary said before the beginning of the year that Gore would share carries with his back-up/s. I think he said something like 60/40. I have yet to see that.

Yah that would be a good idea, it keeps guys fresh also and gives defenses something to think about.

20 carries for gore
5-10 for Westbrook/Dixon

Bring in westbrook from time to time on passing downs.

It will be 60-40 but we were behind by a lot. Anthony Dixon or the less powerful westbrook would have been killed worse than gore the way the o line was playing. Gore had the best shot of breaking one for a touchdown out of all of them and we needed a change of momentum. I think once we are ahead one touchdown or ten points we will see our other running backs getting carries. So don't count to see our other running backs till week 3 imo

Seeing all three getting utilized would be perfect for keeping defense's guessing..as long as we did some sweeps ,play action, screens, etc... and not just run up the middle...

I love Gore but if the 49ers really want to be a run first team, we have to run the ball with multiple people.
