in other words, a crying thread.

it's part of the game. it happens to all teams. good teams win despite the calls.

I want to keep a time capsule of our weekly raping from the refs.
You can't deny that these affect our team and confidence and the way they play.

This team should be good enough to overcome a bad call. The defense was stopping the Seahawks every play. Then that call happened... the defense lays down. This team received the loss it deserved.

Yeah, they have to realize that this crap is going to happen.
They need to react a hell of alot better than just to dwell on the blown calls.
It's like when a pitcher doesn't get a strike call, the pitcher can't get upset because he'll lose control.

The purpose of this thread is to keep track of the screwjobs these refs will give us this year, and how we react.
IMO we were doing VERY WELL, until that play ruined our psyche and if you notice, the game went downhill from there.
Seattle threw a pick on the opening play..you don't think that affected their psyche..they came back and knocked the s**t out of us

They didn't blow us out? They didn't come back and score 31 points?

It would have "affected their phyche" even more if this bad ref call wouldnt have happened! It would have been 3 straight stalled drives for them. The momentum turned in their favor after this and then we just imploded.

That call was HUGE. Not only was it the wrong call but had the receiver not held Nate like he did it would almost certainly been a turnover. In the course of an NFL game a play that should have been a turnover but results in a first down for the team that wrongly received the benefit of the call is HUGE.
And if it wasn't an INT we still would have got the ball back. That was a 3rd down as well, and the Seahawks scored 7 on that drive. If they didn't make it they punt down 6-0. Instead they went up 7-6. All due to the call. You can say they should be able to overcome that, and there is something to that, but it did have a profound effect on the game.
