By the way I just love those that say they been supporting A.Smith for 6 years, and jumping ship now. Kind of hard to support someone that only played one full season in 06 and spent at least 2 yrs injured.
So i guess they mean just how many years he's been on the team whether he played or not, cuz it cant be for how many years he's played.
if you got it, well then you got it. quite frankly, he aint got it...!
if you wanna keep supporting him and go another losing season then be my quest.
but he just doesn't show that he can make it in this league.
You know what SoCal, you aint said nutin disrespectful and i appreciate it. Im not saying Smith will make it this year at all. I aint ever told anyone this s**t, but do know Honestly i wanted Rodgers instead of Smith. Just cuz they played how much he was a Cal kid, and right in the niners back door.
but we didnt, and since then i've supported Smith one hundred percent. But i also supported Shaun when he was in, JTO, when he was in, s**t even Dilfer when he was in. I supported all our players, and not just the one. He was a part of the team, not the team, u feel me.
This year, it's his second full season, none of that pass BS. So I support smith yes, but blindly no. I only count a few seasons he's played in. Common sense u cant include a year a player was injured. I mean no one can in their right mind. But a lot on here do.
This is what i'd like to see to officially let me know if he got it or not. Id like to see the OC, put his best foot forward in calling the plays that actually play to our teams strengths. Call a short play, fine, but make sure u have the personnel in that u know can make the play. Put our players, Smith included in the position for him to be successful. Now then if he fails, get his ass outta here, but only then can he be judged in my opinion.
We gave Hill a shot at starting after he supposedly finished strong the season before, so whats wrong with giving Smith the same support for Smith that many of us gave Hill. Thats the nit picking i hate. whats good for one player isnt good for another.
I want our team to win just like everyone else, but if they arent put in a position to succeed, how can you yell when they fail. Know what i mean
