I am positive Alex Smith is probably coming to terms that the NCAA was his limit. But hey, if the 49ers want to keep paying me...I will keep trying.
He is definitely trying, there is no question about that.

He should stop trying so at least he has an excuse for his suckiness.

Where is the all of the above option!?
To be honest/for the record I think he'll do better than he did though. He had a really bad game against a team that knew what we were doing, but he's played better than that before. With more chemistry and stuff he'll play better. I doubt he'll ever be great but hopefully he can pick it up or get hot for a while and be good enough until we can get someone knew next season. Heck even Matt Ryan had a bad game and looked somewhat similar. He can play better but he got to be more accurate and make better decisions. We need to get this whole offensive problems straightened out and he needs to be a leader somehow. I dunno, hopefully we'll be ok.

No, the coaches think "playing not to lose" more than anyone ellse in Niner land. They didn't even make attempts to score at the end of the first half...

he is thinking 2 things:
1. why do we keep running up the middle when we got snuffed 20 times, no runs to the right or left and
2. we need to stop calling to the play when i roll to the right, becuase its been 5 years and it hasnt worked ONCE
