If what I saw today is the real team and not just 1 game all bets are off. I was thinking win the division and playoffs. But if this is really us 4 - 12 or worse is really possible.

if we can get to 3 wins after the Oakland game we will still have a chance to win the division. This team has proven though that they can be very inconsistent.

Smith was 6 of 7, had the team moving on what looked like a 90 yard TD drive and one miss pass, and a Seattle TD and the lid came off. I thought we would have our ups and downs this year. Especially with rookies who have trouble blocking in the passing game, but I still think we can rally for 8 or 9 wins.

My preseason prediction was 9-7

But after todays game I'm going to have to change that to 9-7

this just validates what I already know. They will win about 9 games by relatively small margins. They will get blown out in about 3 games. And if they make the playoffs will get dismantled.

If Smith starts all year we''l be 8-8. If Carr starts after were 0-2 with a loss to the Saints next monday we'll go 9-7.
