I don't agree with sitting the starters for the last preseason game

I think one series will be ok. But after that pull them even if they go 3 and out.

I don't agree either. I'd rather the team lose key players to injuries right before the start of the season. It's good for everyone.

Hmmm. Maybe should've used a different example.

Brian Urlacher, Jason Campbell.

Every team in the league takes a cautionary approach with their starters. They play the starters one series or so.
Coaches use the last preseason game to determine which players get the last remaining roster spots.
I am OK with this, but then again I don't have to pay for this game as part of a season ticket.

i think it makes more sense to play your players more in the 4th game and not so much in the 3rd game, but thats just me

One series is very high risk ------ low rewards considering we just got Davis and Crabtree back and Staley is nursing a knee and Baas has had two occurances with his stinger. San Diego has a big habit of not playing there key starters anyways.
Let our back ups win this game and maybe a young gun will impress the coaches.

pointless. no sense in losing starters before the season begins. only play the two rooks on the oline and maybe crabs. not even sure i would play crabtree.
trust in coach.
