I hope we keep him too (for depth).
Is he better than Sopoaga? No.
Is he much better than Sopoaga at this point in his career? NO!
He doesn't get doubled like Soap and teams aren't scheming for him, yet.

Better than Soap? Don't think so, but a good practice squad option.

Soap is underrated IMO. He's a big reason why our DL is so dominant.

If you rearrange the letters in his name you can spell: Faukutu!

Kid looks like a keeper. He is very active with a good motor. Not sure what the connection to Soap is all about. I guess because he's somoan/tongan? He reminds me much more of Ray Mac or a baby J.Smith.

I like what we have seen of him so far. He may make it since he was chosen to replace Balmer who I suspect would have made the squad. Demetric Evans is a decent player but if I were choosing I think Tukuafu is much better. I think if the niners keep Briggs, Laboy, and Tukuafu along with the rest of the defense, we will be on another level with a very hard pass rush. I would risk some areas and cut some marginal guys like Mrob and Norris and keep guys like this. I wish I had a better sense of Singletary's sense of the players but he seems a bit afflicted with Nolanesque
idiocy sometimes. Probably a terminal alien infection. I like Brit Miller and Caulcrick over Norris. If that turns out, I think we would benefit as both Miller and Caulcrick can haul the rock and catch too and replace Mrob on special teams. I may not be right but I strongly feel that the pass rush would be vastly stronger with all the guys mentioned. Like I felt Davis alone was not enough on the OL. I think having Briggs,
Laboy and Tukuafu might excel but losing one of them might just make us adequate.
The time to gel like the Patriots of the past is now and keeping experience vs talent
is something I think Nolan would do and I think Singletary has that bent. I think we have the chance now to fill up the team with talent but could louse it up by bumbling our choices.
