Davis at least at some lvl belongs in the NFL.
He is a legit prospect to groom as a 3rd stringer .

The first drive was promising... but on the negative side, I wasn't really thrilled with the playcalling the rest of the first half. We ran every first down and our o line didn't open any holes. Although, they did a good job on pass protection.

Since it's a preseason game, I think that Raye just wanted to see how his backup RBs work behind that OL against the Vikings' 1st team after seeing good results from Smith in the first drive.

Pros: Win - always love to win
- Liked Alex's composure in the pocket, loved the protection.
- Liked the consistent pressure from LaBoy and Briggs.
Cons: - More points out of first team offense.
- Where is Josh Morgan?
- Run blocking was less than ideal.

Con - Josh Morgan has been completely invisible.
Pro - zeigler caught 4 or 5 3rd down plays for first downs. Impressive.

Smith had a good first series and scored. With the rest of his crew it should be interesting.
Zeigler playing and catching - looks like he will make the team.
O line gave up no sacks to the best sack team in the NFL on that first drive.
Dixon played well
Willis getting a sack. I think Willis should get about 10 sacks a season. It will be interesting to see how he handles coverage this year. I would like to see 4-6 interceptions from him.
Defense continued to play well together.
Continued good play from Briggs, B. Davis, and now LaBoy - this should make it tough for the coaches to make their final decisions.
Adams played well as did Mitchell.
Boone keeps playing well.
Sacks and consistent pressure.
Cons
Poor running game.
Ultra conservative play callling after the first touchdown.
No interceptions and fumbles
Not a lot of points this game.
