MaioccoCSN Josh Morgan just walked through locker room -- quickly -- looks OK. We'll see if he practices.

MaioccoCSN Takeo Spikes, Ted Ginn working on side field sans pads. Looks as if Josh Morgan is padded up and ready for practice.

So we've got Williams back.
We need Ginn, Spikes, Heitmann, and Will James (for CB depth) back. Any update on James?

I hope Rachal is benched in favor of Snyder or Heitmann in the next week or two. We need to win, but also realize that we could be so much better with Heitmann in the lineup than with Rachal. We could definitely use James' experience against the Eagles WR in Week 5, and we'd always have use for Ginn's speed any day.
It looks like we should have all of these guys back by Week 5 at the latest.

mattbarrows Spikes & Ginn again working out on separate practice field. Spikes is from the ATL (did I say that right?) My guess is he'll play on Sunday.
Yo Jreff can we get an update to the thread title

mattbarrows Spikes is taking part in the team practice session. Pencil -- no -- pen him in to start in Atlanta.

MaioccoCSN Looks pretty good that Josh Morgan will start Sunday. He does not seem to be bothered by knee strain.

In other 49ers news: WR Ted Ginn (knee), C Eric Heitmann (fibula) are doubtful; CB Will James (ankle) is questionable. They won't suit up.
