Who Singletary? Oh well. If Coffee's heart is not in it, then so be it. I'd have more respect for him walking away, being honest about it, then him taking up a roster spot when he doesn't even care, or want to be with the 49ers.

I've been impressed with Sing's handling of private (player) issues to the media. Keywords: "if you want the answers, ask the player himself, not me."
Mike Nolan would've just thrown the player under the bus, or rambled on for about 5 minutes about the player's feelings through his eyes other than through their own expression.
