- Really believes in Alex Smith, said everyone has different leadership styles, he likes how Alex is becoming an even better leader. Also mentioned that Alex has been helping the defense grow, meaning that he's doing a great job even against a defense which is top 5 (in PW's mind). -Rome asked him about Aubrayo missing camp, Patrick said that he thinks with or without him we'll be a top 5 defense ( in yo face aubrayo). -Coach is the biggest leader on the team. Rome asked if it was easier being in the second year of training camp under Coach, PW said that it wasn't any easier. Still very tough. -Nutcracker is easier then last year, but switched around to not knock people down; try to get a good "Whomp." -Rome said he missed a couple practices from his surgery earlier this year, also mentioned that Patrick hasn't missed a game so far in his career (knock on wood). PW said that he wants to be with the team all the time, want to be hurting just like every else. -Rome asked if he thought we were a playoff team or farther in the playoffs? What's with all the HATE everytime Jim Rome is mentioned on the Webzone?? He has millions of listeners out there and some of us are proud to be clones! He had Brian Wilson from the Giants and PW on the same day, anytime I can hear from both my teams on a national show on the same day I am happy.

Who do you guys prefer on Sports talk nationally? Cowherd, Patrick, Smith? Mike & Mike? None of these guys have the same entertainment value as the Jungle!

Rome is a huge douche in the way that he pushes his own opinions, however i think he does it on purpose, as "his thing" so whatever i dont mind him...cowherd is a f***ing retard btw (not just bc hes a seattle fan)

Jim Rome does a 5 minute interview with some athlete on his radio show, then spends 10 minutes complimenting himself about how great that interview went. Then another 10 minutes reading email from clones complimenting him about the great questions he asked. That's quality sports talk.

Hate to tell you this but then ever Niner fan here is in the same group so you may as well call everyone here a douchebag cause everyone here pushes their own opinions..some are just better than others...And you're pusing your opinion on how and what Rhome is doind...Im not a fan of his but then like everyone else he's entitled to his own opinion after all we're not in Communist Soviet Union

Dan Patrick is by far the best, and it's not even close.
