Oh thank God, I thought you meant Vernon Davis and Nate Davis. I was about to be pissed, I thought they were getting a good connection on passing plays. A quarterback switch would be a huge nightmare. Consistency finally.Happy to hear that hopefully the work ethic rubs off on him too.

My prediction, there will be three Davis;s on the offesnive side of the ball by mid season 2010. RT and TE.
In 2011 there could potentially be three. I am not saying it is a lock, but if Alex does not pan out, anything is possible.

I like the sound of this. According to Barrows' article it sounds like Vernon is taking some leadership and reaching out to the rookie. I may be reading too much into this, but seeing as the younger Davis and VD will be playing side by side quite a bit, it would be nice to see a young, talented guy get some swagger(brought to you by Old Spice) from the slightly less young, talented guy who has loads to spare.
It's good to see VD taking the reigns the way he is. We better get em paid top dollar before the CBA's up. Who knows what stupidity could happen under the new CBA.
