If our thinking is correct then Crabtree will show them. If not Bucky Brooks will be right. So we will soon see.

Is crabtree really a potential "breakout" player?
IMO he already broke out in the second half of last season. this is a list of guys who haven't yet.

Well they had Wallace there and he did good I guess you could consider his rookie season a breakout 6 td's ain't bad. But breakout in my opinion means pro bowl consideration at least.

he probably didnt mention crabs because it was so obvious. dont forget- if crabtree didnt miss those games, he would have had nearly 1,000 yards. haha. which would have let the rookies. so, hes probably just talking about receivers that arent as garented to breakout.

People still don't respect our QB situation but what else is new.
The fact that DHB is mentioned because of offseason hype just makes me laugh. Same BS that got him drafted ahead of Crabtree. Hopefully Michael sees that and keeps working his butt off to show everyone what a stupid decision it was by the Raiders and all those other teams to pass on him.
It's a bit weird actually but unless i missed some obvious fluff pieces during the minicamps there wasn't too much written about Crabtree - just that he was doing very well. Honestly that makes me feel better. Usually the offseason is prime time for writters to take someone who isn't that good and concentrate how they look good in shorts. We've heard that many times with guys who actually don't do much on the field. Kind of nice just to hear Crabs is doing well but not see those hype pieces where he's being talked about more than he deserves.
I'm praying both Crabtree and Alex show us all something special when the season kicks off.

I think he was basing it on breakout = surprise.
In that DHB will surprise people by having 20 catches.
But people won't be surprised if Crabtree has 1000+yrds.

i hope they didn't mention crabtree because he already KIND OF broke out last year and it is obvious he will have a great year or at least a very good year. But then again wallace had a good season just like crabtree and they mentioned him when it seems pretty obvious that wallace and crabtree are going to be 2 very good wr's...the best in that class
