Close enough. He was at a Kmart this time.

Man...he's a prime example of why these guys should get paid. His hands are mangled.

It was hard not to recognize him with his booth set up. To be honest, I was too young when he was playing to appreciate what he did with the 9ers. My first football game was watching him with the Raiders beat the snot out of the Bengals.

I was actually a Raider fan until they left for LA. He said he didn't blame me, he'd have done the same thing. I asked him who his favorite team is now. He replied that he really didn't have a favorite team now. The game they play now, isn't the same game he played. I complete agree with that.

He talked a little about OJ when he was with the team. Talked about Walsh as a rook coach and a bit about Montana and Deberg.

Oh...and he handed me his 1980 superbowl ring and let me look at it. VERY COOL.

So, I'm guessing he was with us in the late 70's? What position did he play? Nevermind, I'll Google it.

Wow! I didn't know he was our sack leader.

No offence but you need to connect to our past more.

And the the OP, great post and picture!
Hardman and Tommy Hart formed a lethal pass rush back in the day...Cedrick was a perennial pro bowler. We could sure use a guy like him now...

Really nice guy. Had a few stories to tell about his time with the 9ers and with Oakland.

Yes, I got pics...will post later.

Nice bro. Dude was tough.

The 49er Gold Rush was one of the few bright spots this team had in the mid 70's. Hardman and Hart, yep. Lethal duo for opposing QB's. I think we played the 4-3 back in the day, and played it pretty darn well as I remember.

Monte Clarke was building a thing of beauty before he got canned. Consider this? Perhaps Monte doesn't get canned. The team was really coming around under his watch.

We never would have hired Bill Walsh.

Lol
Hardman and Hart. I remember them well. What a duo! He was a good guy then and apparently still is.
