What should 49er writers write about for the next month? | Page 2

I know Matt Barrows checks out these boards, and it wouldn't surprise me if other writers did as well. All of the writers have been talking about there is nothing to talk about until the start of training camp, so I figured I would create a thread where we can post ideas for them. Hopefully some of these will show up in print. Anthony Davis: Do some analysis of how other first round pick OT in the league recently looked after their OTA, but before Training Camp, and then compare that to their later success (or lack thereof). Do the same kind of comparison for Kwame Harris and Joe Staley. The same kind of analysis would be fun to do for Iupati and Mays. It would also be interesting to look at failures in rebuilding stadiums, and see how the 49ers are positioned to avoid it. Also, when is the next milestone for completing the stadium, and when can we expect that to be completed?

They should analyze Raye's play calling a little deeper and try to project what we might see this season. It's pretty much all on the O this year and I'm sick of hearing bout Smith, I'd like to know more about the O as a whole.

Scenarios of what will happen if the players and owners don't come up to an agreement.......

meaning, will there be a season full of replacements? (if there is a long term lockout)

Go through the season matchups giving analysis, and where we will stand at the end of the season, doing more research than us zoners and saying "We are going to to win 10 games", etc.

Write about some specific, creative ways that the Niners can utilize their offense this year. Packages, substitutions, diagrams and illustrated receiver routes, etc. Whether we would benefit more from zone or man blocking... when we should spread the offense out, and against which 2010 opponents we should do so against. Same goes for defense, really.

stuff like that... maybe.

Yes, and he wouldn't choke in the big game..

If we had all our players in the box like that, we would get beat deep on every play.
