No question. I'm biased because I was too young for the Montana days, but I feel that Rice is unquestionably the greatest player to ever wear a Niners uniform. He's probably the greatest football player to ever wear an NFL jersey. The guy was electric.

What sticks out in my mind is his playoff game wearing (unfortunately) a Raiders jersey. There's millions of memories that I have of him donning the red and gold but his playoff game vs. the Jets was just incredible. It's unheard to have a number one, starting wide receiver that's about to turn 40. It's more incredible when that guy burns the Jets on 9 catches for 183 yards and a TD. Unfathomable.

I hate to bring up a memory of him on the Raiders, it's just a testament to the type of player he was.

Holy crap, I was totally planning on wearing a Willis jersey to this game, but that has all changed now.

I think the 49ers wanted to wait until he was in Canton. He played for so long, it's taken him some time to get in the Hall.

I remember back in the day ABC used to broadcast Halftime Ceremonies like this for all the fans around the country. I hope ESPN does this for Jerry on Sept. 20th.
