Yes. Obvious questions and Homer Simpson moments.

B/C unlike our niners, Warner was capable of leading the tards to wins OUTSIDE the division.

Bingo . . .

The Cardinals absent the 49ers: 10-4
The Niners absent the Cardinals: 6-8

What?

Im pretty sure thats not the point he was trying to make.

You cant take two wins away from our record because we beat them and they lost to us.

It's more like:

The Cardinals absent the NFC West: 6-4
The 49ers absent the NFC West: 3-8

It's the same point
We've shown we can beat all the teams in the NFC west already. The only reason we lost to seattle was cause Arnaz Battle muffed that punt. If it wasn't for that, we would've won that game too and record woulda been 9-7. Off to the playoffs we go. This year we have protection and we have a year more experience for wideouts. There's no reason why we shouldn't be favorites to win the west!

AND STOP HATIN' ON ALEX SMITH! He did more than your boy shaun hill and that's the reason he's with the lions now.

every team in the league can go back to one or two plays as to why they lost this game and that game, ifs and buts are candy and nuts my friend, accept the fact we lost that game instead of trying to blame arnaz battle for costing us a game on a play that occured in the 1st half, frank gore fumbled in the 4th, VD dropped a td pass in the 4th. i get tired of hearing this crap about how we shoulda had 3 more wins based on the colts vikings and seahawks games, we flat out lost them all. we have won many close games over the years, take the good with the bad

Sorry to tell you the truth but that's what it is. My point is still the same that we should already be favored to win the west regardless of the cards having kurt warner or not.

It makes me wanna kick Darnell Docket in the a** when I hear this, but how are we the favorite cause the cardinals don't have Kurt Warner anymore??? I mean we beat them when Warner was on the team.If I recall, didn't we sweep those idiots in the regular season?? If you look at the record against the cards, we should have their number. In those games alone in '09 and in others, we sacked overrated Warner like 3-4 times in those games. And we beat those idiots with authority. I don't see why we would be all of a sudden become relevent now cause he's gone? Is it me or did I miss something??

I didn't read any of the responses after the original post, so I apologize if I repeat what someone else has been said already.

If you use your head, even if it's just a tiny bit, you'd realize the problem was never with us beating Arizona, it's with OTHER TEAMS beating them. We had Warner's number, but most of the other teams on their schedule couldn't stop him. Once he left, every other team that couldn't stop them with Warner now has a much better shot at beating them. Get it?

Anyway, we'd probably be the favorite even if Warner had stayed. The team has steadily progressed since Singletary took over and most people expect much of the same in 2010. We are becoming a relevant team again and a lot of people would have us as the NFC West favorite no matter what Arizona did or did not do in the offseason.

WRONG.

Even if we beat Seattle and go 9-7, Arizona still wins the division at 10-6 and we wouldn't even have had a good enough record for a Wildcard spot. Atlanta went 9-7 and missed the playoffs because Green Bay and Philly both got into the Wildcard spots with 11-5 records.
