2010 Divisional Odds

I'm surprised we are that favored, I think we will win it but we don't deserve to be favorites after an 8-8 record. Granted it's the NFC west but -125... at best I think we should be even money.

Wow, the sports book is putting out their bets soon. None of the other sports books have anything with NFL football right now.

Also, after the initial lines set by the books, the lines might change. The bookies might start the 49ers out at -125 but if there are a lot of Niners fans betting on the Niners on that site, they might increase the line to say -150 (2:3). That doesn't mean the bookies all of a sudden think that the Niners are more favored to win the division. They are just trying to split the bets.

Yes, but the initial line is based on a composite of what all the bookies think.

I'm betting I wait till the season starts to make a bet.
