I found his comments on Ginn a little shocking. Says he wants to use Ginn more as a WR.

havent watched yet, but i can see Ginn at WR mainly, with Vann and Kyle Williams as KR and PR

I'd be shocked if Ginn wasn't returning kicks Week 1 - punts? probably not.

Agreed. He's too good not to return kicks, but I like that they're really giving him a real look at receiver. We all complain about the lack of speed....well he's got speed. I also like that they are moving Crabtree around so when Ginn comes in at the X, Crabtree slides to the Z and Morgan comes off the field. That should make for a nice change up to keep the opposing CBs off balance.

What I liked about Sing's comments was his emphases on attention to details. You never heard that from Nolan. This what Bill Walsh use to preach about.

Well in 08 he had 50 plus grabs so it shouldn't be shocking that were trying him at reciever. Imo if he really works at it he can be a solid number 3. I'm so glad that we have a coach can the best out of these players.

I hope he meant that if he was our 3rd he would just kick return and not punt return. I guess that's where Vann comes in so he can just handle punt return duties. It would be a waste to just have Ginn at reciever and I would be

Ginn can stretch the field which will only help vd, crabs, etc. If nothing else, he will be a solid decoy

Agreed! I thought we brought him in here to at least return kicks. I would not mind him as #2 or #3 reciever. I do not know why so many have Morgan as a solid #2, as his numbers nor productivity support such an assumption.

he can only be a decoy for so long. So when he does get wide own, he's gotta catch it and smith has to hit him.

I see him as a stellar #3 WR and a decent #2. He is probably the 2nd best WR we have right now based on skill set and exp. I am hopeful he can be a good reciever for us but I know he can be a great KR for us. Sounds like Sing may have a hard-on for Vann though.

Good. This explains the drafting of late round receivers. I wanted them to give him a shot at receiver. If he can hang on to the ball he will bring another dimension to our attack.

He had a very good rookie year, so he does have the potential, look how VD has improved his catching ability.

If you have Ginn blowing past his man (like he did to Revis) it will draw the safety and allow us to keep doing those skinny posts to VD, with Crabtree running underneath.
