Though it may be well deserved, I think it's totally illogical to retire numbers for the simple reason, that at some point you’re going to run out (wishful thinking, I know). Don't get me wrong, I’m all for displaying and revering famous jerseys but permanently retiring those numbers just sounds impractical to me.
