Players really letting management know what they think this week.

I glad the players are speaking up. These have been fairly quiet group of guys and to let the powers that be know they want to win and win now makes me happy. But in the end Management manages and players have to play, so I hope it doesn't get out of hand and we have a mutiny.
Joe can be upset all he wants, but there was really nothing the Niners FO could have done (short of offering him a s**t ton of money, which wasn't going to happen) to keep him if he wanted to go elsewhere.

Specially since these players were on the cusp of the playoffs last-season (with the rest of the NFC West clearing out), our roster (as well as us fans) believes that you'd wanna fill those 'missing' pieces to building a championship through FA (or retaining depth players).

One of the biggest gripes I've heard thus far from our players on twitter have to do with the team failing to acquire some adequate 'game-changing' depth to the roster during FA weekend.
Im sure he will be a lot more happy when we draft Trent Williams or Anthony Davis, giving us the set of a bookend tackles we have had since at least Deese and Gragg and probably since Fiori and Scrafford.

If Seattle somehow ends up getting Mike Bell, draft Spiller, and sign and trade for Marshall I would not call that clearing out the rest of the NFC West.
I'm sure Saints players are upset Fujita left, I'm sure Vikings would have wanted Chester Taylor to stay, Dockett has been crying like a baby on twitter about Dansby and Rolle leaving, it's just the nature of the business players need to accept.
awww.. i hope that staley is ok! we love you! u're best the player a 49ers! I alway cheer ya man!

You are so very right. I've thought this off season we'd pick up some key additions to help us over the top, but people on here thinks that is crazy. I'm not saying go all Redskins and Dallas spending a buttload of money on players, but a few critical ones and using the draft to seal the deal.

He wanted to get paid and was ready to go wherever the money was. It seems like reuniting with Foerester in Washington wasn't as important as getting paid and he went to the highest bidder (Cleveland)

From what I read in articles posted here he seemed to like it here and if the 9ers really valued him one would think they would have tried to keep him.
lol just asked him if he would move to RT and he said no. no point in the gaither rumors

You know I was thinkin almost the same thing wit Williams, however, after F/A, teams may be picking a little differently now. Crazy things do happen in that Top 10 that set the tone for the rest of the draft.
