... possibly with double digit sack numbers??

... or arrested for punching a woman in the face?

Damn! He punched a woman in the face?? That's the kind of no nonsense smashmouth players I want on this team.

Not at all funny. Violence against women is a serious issue, and steroid-fueled football players contribute more than their share.

f**k women. violence against anyone is a serious issue.

first off, he was joking. dont get all serious and upset. what are you the principal of the webzone?

and second, outside a small handful of wife beaters over the course of NFL history, you have no proof that NFL players contribute to it more than anyone else.
I just hope this dosen't turn into another Charles Haley problem if we let him go. I know this is a very premature statement, but i'm just saying. That was a very dumb mistake on a underestimated player. It bit the Niners hard.

I wouldn't pay him big bucks for about half a year of work. He needs to show he's a player from one year to the next.

Nobody is going to give up a 2nd for Brooks considering his history. Dude got booted off his college team for smoking buds and not following team rules, got cut from the Bengals for reportedly being a bit lazy in rehab, and has been accused of smacking a woman around. Add in the fact that he had good games against teams with little to play for (save AZ) and you will not find a single team even considering a 2nd for Brooks.
I don't see a downside to any of this. If no team offers him a contract (which they probably won't), he has a full offseason to improve his skills, and an entire season to prove what he is made of.

If he is offered a contract by another team, then we are compensated with a 2nd round pick, which we would could spend on a pass rusher. It's really a win win situation.

It depends what she did. If a girl comes up and strikes a man and the guy strikes her back, oh well. Nobody has the right to hit anyone else, but if they do it anyway, I'm not opposed to making my attacker the victim in the end. Bottom line is don't hit somebody if you don't want to get hit back, male or female.

I've never hit a female and I can say I never intend on doing so, but I also don't intend on being struck by a female, either.

In these stories about NFL players beating women, we don't get the full story. Sometimes guys are just douchebags and hit women for no reason. Sometimes the woman deserves it.

Obviously most women are physically inferior to most men, but if you're a 5'2" man weighing 120lbs you're probably not going to attack a 6'5" 250lb guy, are you? And if you did, common sense should tell you that you're about to get beat down.
