the main reason we will win the division this year is team improvement along with having alex crab and the D all improving with brooks and goldson....so even with warner we would win the division most likely next year......without him, cake walk.
If we only had the same home/away schedule we would of won the division last year as well. IND, MINN, GB, HOU, PHI away....hell IND, MINN HOU and GB would of been wins in my opinion......and we only needed 2 more to get the division. The home games we won away as well.

The NFL does not work like that, you should really be able to figure that out even after watching for a season or 2.
Thats like saying if the Saints win the Super Bowl that the Cowboys are the REAL Champs because they beat them....
And head to head divisional games are even less telling, once again, all you really need to do is follow the NFL for a season or two to learn these things
But we beat them..

What ticks me off is people who automatically say we have just won the west! Are chances are definetaly better without Warner but we still have got to go out there and prove we are the best in the west! That means winning road games, establishing an identity on offense, and converting on 3rd down. I don't care who the Tards have or don't have, if we handle our business the rest will fall into place!

everyone knows we can beat them with warner.
the problem was, other teams COULDNT beat them with warner, and they beat other teams more than we beat other teams. thus, we dont win the division. now they are likely to regress back to a 5-7 win team.

This is like addition by subtraction. Warner leaving means the Cards probably go 6-10 and we all know the Seahawks and Rams are gonna suck so even if the Niners just tread water and go 8-8 again they likely will win the division.

Dunno if the Cards will regress that much. I see them going 8-8 right now.
