drafting for need

If Sam Bradford or Trent Williams is there at 13...Id take Sam Bradford.... I like Smith but Id rather have Bradford then take an OLman with #17..

You look at both need and BPA. You can't ignore either. If some player is dramatically better you pick the best player. If they are close you pick for need.

Why is it so hard for people to understand this? Great summary.

I think u should always draft the best player available! But sometimes as mentioned before,the need pick is closely talented so u take the need.

You balance the two. And weight it against the relative upgrade each player would offer. And the importance of the position.

I think the two options are viewed
way too black and white here. Fortunately, they don't let us draft!
