I dunno but I sure hope the results are DRASTICALLY different from last year when we wore them...

they should never be worn again.

49ers have no business in a black uniform.

I read online that the rivalries uniform will be around for 3 seasons total. 2025, 2026, and 2027.

Unfortunate, because I had hoped they would be s**t canned and never worn again. They didn't learn from the first all black uniform debacle?

I heard they're going to wear them in Australia when they play the Rams. For some reason teams think they look tough when they wear black. I think they look tough when they look at the final score and they won. I like their traditional red and gold uni. They don't need to keep changing like the crappy teams do.

Right. Tradition matters.
Cant stand the cowboys but they are very protective of their classic look. (unless the league makes them, rivalry, color rush etc)

The uniform breakdown has already been released.

We're going to wear the regular white uniforms for the Australia game and the rivalry uniforms will be worn in the week 14 game at Levi's.

That's going to be one ugly game with both teams wearing dark uniforms

I'm glad to hear they aren't wearing black in that opener. I probably won't see it anyway since it's on Netf**ks.
I'm glad we're wearing the 94 reds against the cowboys and the 94s roads against the chargers (we did wear them in December 1994 in San Diego). But I wish we wore them more than just 3 times total. I think the rule is 4 games for alternate/throwback/rivalries.

Everyone wants a piece of the NFL pie. Meanwhile the fans are being forced to chose between paying more and more to watch their team or wait until the game is shown later on ther NFL channel. Other sorts are doing the same thing. Not a great way to build a solid fan following.

The Niners wore the '94 a buncha times in 2021 during the team's 75th anniversary season. 2026 is the team's 80th anniversary, so theoretically they could've asked the league permission to wear throwback for more games this upcoming season but for some reason didn't (unless the uniform rules changed since five years ago—for the worse/stupider stringent rules).

With the lifting of the 1 shell helmet rule, and influx of alternate jerseys around the league, I don't see why they wouldn't be lenient about the rules surrounding alternates. Then again, keeping some sense of structure to uniform rules is better than the mess that is the NBA, I suppose.
