considering the 7 year playoff drought, and some 2-14 and 4-12 seasons, i cant beleive people are calling for Sing's job. 1.5 seasons as coach, winning record. it only makes sense to get rid of him now!

and you can even argue Sing just babysat Mike Nolan's mess against Seattle that week, and his coaching didnt really come into play since he got to fully game plan through the bye week. so you can probably throw the seattle loss to Nolan's credit. then its 13-11.

weve become a top 5 rush defense, had 2 of our players finish in the top 3 for defensive players. we forced more fumbles than anyone in the NFL. not to mention had an elite red zone D, as well as a surprisingly competent red zone offense. we had a very good turnover ratio as well.

we cut way back on the penalties, and the OL despite playing poorly, was disciplined in not jumping offsides. our TE had a record setting offensive season, and our RB became the 1st Niner RB ever to rush for over 1000 yds and 10 TD's in the same season.

we sent 3 players as starters to the pro bowl, all likely "all-pro's" as well, and had 4 alternates in Frank Gore, Justin Smith, Aubrayo Franklin, and Michael Robinson

and since the bye week in 2008? In Mike Singletary's 11 losses, only 3 of them have been by over 7 pts.

thats losses of 3, 5, 13, 5, 35, 3, 4, 7, 6, 3, and 14
