He needs to work on catching the ball this offseason, he would have made some game changing plays hadn't not been for him dropping them. Imagine if he would have made them interceptions against the colts and against the vikings, both would have been for a pick six and we would have won them games. We would than be sitting at 10-6 atleast.
We would be playing Green Bay today

...yeah we need to resign him for a couple more years.
couple more years?
i would sign him to another one year deal at a decent price, nothing more. I think his return will depend on what the team believes the chances are that harris can come back healthy. IMO both will not be on the team
i heard Bly will be the 49ers top priority to retain, over both Clements and Harris.
Clements is still under contract.
no way we are keeping walt harris he is 37 and a non contributer to the team.
We are trying to get rid of the old vets and mone on with the young guys. For example: Jeff U.-Wilhelm Harris- Spencer Bruce-Morgan and Hill

I say let's see what Walt has in the tank first before we make a rash decision. When he was healthy, he was palying wvery bit s good as Spencer. Maybe age and injury may slow him doem this year but let's see first before we shut the book on him.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he's been awesome...he's had his moments, no doubt, but he's also a player who takes risks...sometimes too many and he can give up big plays. Still, he's worth re-signing...in addition to whomever we draft. Haden would be an outstanding pick, but chances are he won't be still on the board at #13. That being the case, we should go ahead and get the best OT available and BPA with the 2nd 1st rounder. I think McClain would be an awesome pick.

Bly came on strong near the end. If he comes cheap, I would say keep him, and hope that he can mentor a rookie!

I wouldn't mind keeping Bly, but I would like to get younger and quicker so if we could upgrade then don't sign him if not keep him. I still think we can be solid with Spencer, Clements, Brown, and a young stud.

we can do better in the draft. The tread has worn thin on these old cbs. We need a younger guy from the draft and the ones we have to step up.

yes, but we can let him walk next season, hes scheduled to earn 6 mil. if he isnt willing to restructure, or move to S if wed rather him be there, hes gone. its hard to tell how hes going to come back from his injuries.
