San Francisco 49ers On January 21, 2009, Spurlock was signed to a future contract by the San Francisco 49ers. hah im just upset that we released him, i always thought he was fast and wood make a good KR/PR but knew he was booboo at WR. niners hsould have kept him IMO. were pathetic at that position right now

I would definitely have preferred to keep Kory Sheets over Spurlock. With Gore out for 3 games this year, and now Coffee missing games, we could have used him at RB, as well as a returner.
