i was at the game, smith played horrible and it's coming from a supporter. the play that pisses me off the most is that long throw to crabtree. that s**t would have been a TD if he threw it a little further
It's really hard for me be sympathetic with your argument when you present it with the acumen and grammar of a second grader on crystal meth.

Im on the fence about him. I think if someone like Tony Pike falls to us in the mid 2nd round we take him and prepare for the enivitable. Smiths decent I just dont think he'll ever be great . His longball sucks , certainly crabtree would of scored when if he'd thrown it deeper or out to the left of the field more. Rather Crabs had to wait for it and thus making it a harder catch to make and slowing him down. WONDERFUL route there.

I also don't think Smith has it. However, after bit--ing about that long pass to Crabtree being short, I thought about it a little. Sure, if it had been a little longer, he could have caught it in stride and got a touchdown. But then I thought about how everyone complained about Hill not being able to throw it down the field. Hill has a lot of other good points and I really like him and I thought about how I didn't think he was treated fairly or the same as Smith. Maybe Smith didn't throw it short, maybe he threw it as far as he possibly could. You know, did the best he could. He is human and does have limitations. Maybe the receivers will learn what he can do and adjust to it. I think we are stuck with him through next season, like it or not. Let's all hope that a whole offseason as the starter will give him the experience to do better next year. Our defense is doing its part pretty well. Today all we heard about was Manny. Brooks some too. Not so much about Harrelson, (spelling) , but a little. Next week it could change around. I think these guys will lead our defense along with Willis. The Oline could use an addition, but I think Quarterback it the biggest question. Hope the coaching staff gets it right. We will just have to wait and see. We should have had at least two touchdowns with all the turnovers. Need the offense to be more driven.
