hard to come up with a hard-nosed, tough name for a D when you play in San Francisco. there really isnt anything tough about SF outside the 49ers. at least not like Pittsburgh or something.

not to dis SF, its a cool city, but there isnt really a clever, SF related nickname that sounds scary.

and all fun aside, this D does NOT deserve a nickname. you gotta win a super bowl or something. the 2001 Ravens D, and 2002 Bucs D didnt even have nicknames, and they were 2 of the best EVER.
