What a horrid pass by Smith on 3rd down. Dude has no accuracy at all. He NEVER throws a catchable ball.
Up and away from the defenders is terrible accuracy? He placed it where only Crabtree could go and get it.
He placed it where crabs could get killed. There is such a thing as protecting your WR's...Accurate QB's are aware of this.
If he threw it lower and it got picked everyone would be calling for his head. Crabtree needs to make that catch plain and simple. Everyone gets on VD for dropped balls, well that was placed well and should have been caught.

Throw it a bit lower, and it's a catch, and maybe even a broken tackle for extra yards.

I know Singletary wants us to finish games...how about a happy medium of starting the game, too.

LOL, ok.
What are you laughing about? Please explain with your obvious extensive football knowledge how that wasn't proper placement and a "catchable ball."
Not the best throw by Smith at all.
That was his best throw all day hahahahaha

Another great choice not to catch the ball by Battle. Last game as a niner.
Hes gone this offseason.
Battle isn't very good, but he's better than B. Jones, the $16.5 million dollar bonus baby. Trade Jones, and pick a speed WR

RU serious? They need to just get rid of Smith so that all you supporters can root for him in the CFL.

This team has no attitude or heart.
That starts with the passive leader/QB.
Nah lets blame the OL for everything. That throw to Crabs that could have been a TD was the OL's fault..that high throw that almost got Crabtree killed was the OL's fault too...oh and all the check downs are the OL's fault also

Pathetic return, leading to an even more pathetic Smith outing.

so Im at work, and I cant watch the game. From the looks of it, Im not missing much. Is Alex Smith stinking it up, or is it a team effort ?

why does Alex most of the time, cause our receivers to have to jump??
Smith throws too high on 80% of his throws. Causes tipped interceptions, incompletions, and injured receivers.
What?
Dude please. Put the hash pipe down. He's not by any stretch of the means perfect. But 80% of the time is completely exaggerating that just a bit.

How bout all the ones that he put right in their hands and they drop? 80%.
Nice try though.
