Clements or Bly to Free Safety NEXT Year?

its not gonna happen, idk why we keep discussing this, clements already said he gonna stay at corner and isnt open to safety.

Clements is under contract next year. Bly's contract is up at the end of the season.

Said it on KNBR a week or 3 ago. He said "Im a corner" when asked if he'd be open to making the switch to safety. In other words it's not happening.

Said it on KNBR a week or 3 ago. He said "Im a corner" when asked if he'd be open to making the switch to safety. In other words it's not happening.
doesnt mean that they wont move him anywayz he can say hes a corner all he wants if they change his position he's sol

The 49ers will probably restucture Clements contract and hopefully move him to FS whether he likes it or not. I think it will be better for him and the team.

No you move him to SS where he will probably be a better fit. Michael Lewis is pretty much done as a 49er.

well i heard it on comcast sports net, they asked him how he felt about safety and he said no i play corner during an interview.
