I see this as a win-win situation. Give Gore the chance to run it in, get his 1000 yards and win the game. If Gore makes it, we win and go 8-8, big deal. Its still a losing season to me.

If he doesn't make it, its on him, you gave him a chance. Niners losing the game may move them up another position in the draft. Division rivals or not, the Rams know the Niners are a better team. Sing is talking about playing backups anyway. So it sounds like he wants to evaluate some players, and doesn't care much about the outcome.

And I pull the Line to the side and tell them if they don't clear the way for Frank they'll never play another down of Football again because they will be promptly knee capped after the game.

I know frank missed 3 games but still he has under 200 carries for the year, that's way to low. He needs to carry the ball about 300 times a season. The man is averaging 5.3 yards a carry and 6.7 yards a carry in the last 2 games and that was against 2 pretty good run defenses. You tell me who needs to get the ball, so we can win some games? Play action should be all to easy.
