their WR's have time to get open because they have forever to throw the ball
we have like 2 secs before someone is in Smith's face, 2 secs is not enough time for our WR's to get open

last game we did not convert a single 3rd down and looking at the seahawks game it was a similar dilemma.
watching yesterdays game, every third down they would consistently blitz us and alex smith would roll out and throw the ball away... i mean seriously the wr's had no time to develop their routes and smith had no time to get a read
obviously our o-line has its fair share of problems but it couldnt hurt to try a screen or a quick slant
they blitzed every time on 3rd down...lame playcalling

This is a very good point. Since they're blitzing us to death, we must make adjustments and throw the quick slant or screen and we never ever seem to make these adjustments.
Did i mention this season SUCKED?

It's because we are always in zone coverage. We constantly are trying to keep everything in front of us, but if somebody gets through the zone, they're running free.
Our WRs usually are going against man coverage and since we never throw deep, the have plenty of guys to smother our receivers.

I hate the fact that we are always in zone. Didn't Spencer say he wanted to be more aggressive? Yet he was off about 10-15 yards

Part of the problem is our QB's inability to go deep, or his timing or lack of trust in his wr's or even the way he stares down his WR's.
There are games where he seems scared to go deep...

Our OL,WR(besides crabtree), and CB's suck point blank.
1 fix the OL
2 get 2 starting cb's cuz we don't even have 1.(move clements to saftey)
3 get a speed, deep threat WR.

I can't understand why Tarrell Brown wasn't put on D Jackson? At least he could do a better job of keeping up with Jackson than Bly.

This season SUCKED!!!
Do you guys notice that when other teams blitz, they put pressure on or sack our quarterback. And when we blitz, our blitzers are picked up at the line of scrimmage and the qb has all the time in the world? Is it a scheming thing? How come the other teams' blitzers always come free and chase Alex around?
