having a fast te is good but dont you think its a problem having no speed wrs???? whos our deep threat a wr who can open space for possession wrs like we have in crabtree and morgan?
To me the Eagles where a measuring stick to how far the niner have come, and how far they have to go. Lets face the facts, the Eagles have had the same Head Coach, Starting QB for 10 years. The Niners have had at least 8 starting qb's in that time frame, and numerous head coachs and offensive coordinators.

The result is Philadelphia is now a franchise the niners need to learn from. The Eagles sign all of their core players years before their contract is set to expire. They just re upped Celek, a TE who fits their mold.

The team also drafts better, or at least develops their draft picks better than the niners do. This all comes down to consistency, something the niners lack.

I had to laugh at all of the zoners who though we would be picking around slot 23 in the draft this year. They need to take off the rose colored glass's.

Good point. BUt, I don't think that this team is any less talented; other than the QB play. In fact, this team has a better RB and Lb's than the Eagles.

Switch OL and I think you would have a different opinion.

Tell that to Brett Favre tonight.

Or Ben Roethlisberger, another Super Bowl QB, all year.

Or any other top QB with a losing or .500 team.

Sorry, I don't buy that. Gore had over a 100 yards on only 16 caries and I saw Smith wallk right into a sack. Smith is Sorry and the sooner this team realizes it, the better.

Makes you wonder how the Seahawks were in the Superbowl a few years ago with their three time pro bowl QB but just got beat by a 1-13 team today to go 5-9 on the season doesn't it. Or how last years super bowl winner, the same team that beat the Seahwaks in the previously mentioned super bowl, lost 5 games in a row going into today's game.

That all happened in the NFL, right?

And, guess what, those retards beat us...oh yeah, we suck...

He has been a BUST for years, but there are folks (like the owners) who are in total denial about him... all you have to do is look at his W-L record and his TD to INT records to know the story...

But his speed does no good if he won't challenge for the ball or run his routes properly.
The Eagles exposed most of our weaknesses. Play calling was below average. Receivers couldn't get separation. The Oline was inconsistent. they opening up a few running lanes for Gore but gave up sacks and pressures on Smith Our QB played poorly. Snyder is a career backup.

Our D played below average. We must get a quality RT in the draft or FA. And we still need a big time pass rusher.

i didnt see mcnabb get sacked by an all pro def end who was unblocked, like trent cole did to smith....hanson was untouched on at least two corner blitzes...gore missed a block allowing smith to get dumped..snyder was totally beat by a def end who ran right by him
and btw singletary placed alot of the 1st interception on davis...football is a team game

it was definitely underthrown but Matt Moore threw a ball behind a TE and some random TE went back to get the ball and wound up getting a bunch of yards after the catch. The fact of the matter is its his job to go back to the ball and atleast try to knock it down rather than just letting the guy get the pick and I've heard that a lot. If the ball is thrown to you, and it's not perfect, you need to try to come back to make a play on the ball. It was a crappy throw but he's got to try to become the defender atleast on that play and bat the ball away.
