alex has done enough already for me to feel comfortable with him as the QB next yr. i'm excited to see what a full offseason will do for our offense. drafting another QB will do nothing to help our chances of winning next season.
Anyhow, the Philly game looks to be a tough game. First, the eagles defense loves to blitz and from everywhere. 2nd, the weather will make it tough to throw, and we all know how well smash mouth, up the middle has worked for us before. The only thing i think we have going for us is that they moved it to 4pm eastern so we will be playing at the normal time our guys are used to. otherwise, a game like this...cold, wet/freezing...looks like its going to be a defensive battle. i think it'll be hard to judge alex if he/the coaches arent comfortable throwing the ball in a blizzard.

With 25 mph, Alex's job willbe to avoid turnivers. Really, a stat line of 14 - 21 for 115 yards with no interceptions would be great.

F*&K COHN! That guy has NO idea what he is talking about. You know how many articles I have read of his in the past that were spewing garbag?!? He is always looking for attention. Honestly, we were gonna lose to Philly. The chance of actually winning this game was almost zero. Philly is HOT and we are NOT.

And it would have still sent the zone into a frenzy.
"I have yet to see Alex try to win us the game because of him."

Us fans can still ride the "lack of consistentcy" and "First to Five" cards for another few years.

Even the raiders beat the eagles. We have a long way to go and a short time to get there. I'm eastbound just watch ol' bandit run....................
