It would be interesting when we run the spread or shotgun if Davis was the lone back. I have feeling he'd be a SPEEDY load out of the back field running the ball, and of coarse he would be dangerous receiver out of the back field. If we did this three or four times a game it could really confuse the defense. Just a thought.

haha good idea, but I think Justin Smith will be the better full back. That guy is 280lbs plus and he likes to blow people up

No way. Forget his potential. he's already a fantastic recieving threat and legit run blocker from the end position. Don't mess with success. Steve Young was "capable" of playing tail back. That doesn't make it a good idea to move him back there. Davis' blocking ability is the main reason they always run the TE reverse to walker and not vice versa. Walker probably wouldn't set the edge as well.

I would love to see it. We should have a little creativity instead up the trap right, trap left, sweep right, sweep left...5 yard pass up the middle...boooring!

I wanna see flea flickers, statue of liberty, reverses, etc.

VD as an RB would be awesome. We got to take advantage of his speed more often. I just think the more we utilize him, the more he gets comfortable, confidence and maybe won't drop the ball as much.

I think he would also be awesome as a Defensive End
