Watch the highlight closely and watch Crabtree start leaning one way to take the CB and saftey with him. The CB thinks its an out and stops. And the safety stay up top.

This is a sign of good route running. And he is only a rookie. He could revolutionize this game. We shall see.

This is the reason that running 40 yards in shorts and a T-shirt means squat.

Crabtree's route running is legit for sure, but anybody worry about how he carries the ball in traffic????
Seems like he's always holding the ball with 1 hand when he's running for extra yds...

I noticed that too. I hope they fix that, along with Alex throwing his passes to low and having them tipped/batted down.

Crabtree's change of direction and body control are on point. He is only going to get better. Niners hit a home run with this guy..............

A very bold statement there. I'm sure other great receivers have done and are doing the same thing. What probably made that LEAN work for Crabs if the fact he's a rookie and the defender thinking the NooB was inadvertently showing his hand.

i agree revolutionize is going overboard. could he be a very good, pro bowl WR yes. A great HOF WR maybe, but revolutionize the game? I think not. only a few athletes in history of sports have revolutionized their sport Jordan/Ruth/Ali/Woods/Gretzky

Who is #54 on the cardinals?
LOL I think Smith was talking sht to him after that pick by Dockett....they both hit each other. Smith must have talked sht because #54 turns back and points @ Smith and says something.

Now maybe the rest of our receivers can go workout on their own so that they can run routes better. Sullivan is holding them back.
