I didn't know our franchise had sunk so low as to call a win over the Arizona Cardinals "one of the Great Niner Games".

like others I have to say in recent memories. for me personally nothing compares to the MNF againt the LA Rams when John Taylor showed them up. Two 90+ TD's. 1B on that list for me personally would be the NY Giants game when Ronnie Lot owned Mark Bavaro...and I mean he owned him.
These two games were great memories and I STILL smile when i think of those games... Plus JR beating the Giants on a last minute bomb by Joe Montana was a great memory
One of my favorites is the WildCard game with Steve Young to TO scoring a TD in the last seconds to win the game. That one is a Great Niner Game.

For real. I still can't believe the tards have become the team to beat for the last two years. Before '04, I always used to hope we'd score 40 on them.

Defensively it was good, but we had loads of those when we were a good team. Basically it's like f**king a 6 after a decade of 2s.

That game was as much due to the Cardinals being terrible as it was the Niners playing well. If Warner throws to Breaston instead of Boldin it's 6 instead of a pick. If Wilson doesn't fall down he goes into the endzone and it's a different game.
It was a good win, but not one of the Greatest.

Before some of you old timers like me go slamming guys for calling this a great game, try and remember that some of these fans are so young they might not know what a great niner game really was...
