There's something to be said for the continuity concept. Look at the Steelers as a good example. The Rooney's stick with their crew through the thick and thin. They don't win every year, but they've managed to stay contenders for seemingly forever.
This is a down year for them, but no heads will be rolling. They did the same thing during the lean years with Cowher and Noll before him.
