More Play Action?

Ive noticed that we hardly ever run any play-action, I figure if we arent going to run Gore(which is just weird), we should at least threaten to. Most NFL teams fear this man, which means that we are expected to give him the ball about 30 times a game. Even though we dont give him near that many or havent for quite a while, Im sure we can catch the run stopping DBs like Antrelle Rolle ETC. on the slip. Plus that might even help our Run-Attack by changing the Tempo of the game. And Alex, try that pump fake every now and again, it flips the script on these eager DBs that have come to expect you to eyeball your receivers. These aspects of the game could make our "predictable" misnomer a thing of the past. A concerned 49er fan, -PRIME 21

They have tried playaction on a few 3rd/4th and short. It worked pretty good. But that might go away soon cause team aren't buying it anymore. They know as we know, the team can't run the ball. That Oline needs to get their s**t together on run plays.

You have to actually have the threat of running to run play action. If Gore break off a couple long ones play action would work but when he is running into walls it won't. No point in doing it.

its hard to run play action when you cant even run the ball in the first place...cause Defenses will be more focused on the pass since you cant successfully run the ball.

I would like to see more play action, but the line hasn't been doing well enough to hold there blocks there really make a team pay. Teams are run blitzing every time they think the 49ers are going to run, so there will be 1 on 1 coverage but will there be time to get it there.

We need a running game to make PA work. Since no team really thinks we can run on them they don't stack 8 or 9 in the box. Besides PA is used to help a passing game. Over the last few weeks we have found that our passing game is ok. It is the running game that needs help.

The reason the 49ers didn't run against Seattle is because Seattle respected the run and showed no respect for the pass.

It had nothing to do with the fact that the team hasn't been able to run all year? Other than a few long runs by Gore this has been a horrible run team.
